This summer I have completed a 9-week course at PMA Media in London to hone my journalism skills. I am a reporter on a pilot magazine called Street Food Business, which went live in September 2012 and can be found at www.streetfoodbusiness.co.uk.
I was nominated for the 2011 Student Journalist of the Year award at the Midlands Media Awards for work done at University, some of which is showcased on this blog. I studied Journalism at University of Worcester before graduating in January 2012.
As well as reporting and news-writing skills I have also been trained in writing features, for print and online, InDesign and filming and editing video features.
I also have a passion for sport, mainly football, but as you will see if you read my blog I do appreciate and follow a number of other sports.
